I always tell my clients etiquette is not a bunch of stuffy old rules, in fact, etiquette evolves as society does.

In the past, if a friend asked you for a ride, for the most part, the answer would be “yes”. However, during Covid-19 would your answer be the same?

I recently shared my thoughts with the Chicago Tribune In an article Titled: Social Graces: What to do if a friend asks for a ride in your car during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Someone is asking you for a favor. Honesty is the best policy. Simply tell the person that you can’t. Most people who ask for a ride actually need the ride, and when you decline, they will continue looking elsewhere. They have moved on.
